Bird news from Ms. Vivian Fu (East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership), Dr. Donguk Han, Ms. Eun-Jung Lee, Ms. Eun-Jung Kim, and Ms. In-sook Kim (Eco Korea), Prof. Jae-Sang Hong (Inha Univ.), Mr. Young-Soo Kim (Hanns Seidel Foundation Korea), and Dr. Hyun-Ah Choi (Hanns Seidel Foundation Korea and Birds Korea lifetime member)
On 19 April we had joint survey in Yu-Do (islet), Siamri wetland, and Janhang wetland which are located in the Han River estuary at the trans-boundary on the Korean peninsula between South and North Korea. We observed total 54 species during the survey. Highlights include 1490 Great Cormorant, 2 Black-faced Spoonbill, 2 Eurasian Curlew, 3 Far Eastern Curlew in Yu-Do, 6 Swan Goose, 24 Bean Goose, 1 White Wagtail, 7 Green Sandpiper, 4 Long-toed Stint, 1 Hen Harrier in Janghang wetland.
